Gotas que caen I
(2004) / Charcoal drawing and ink on canvas, 138 x 122 cms.
Colección: Spiritual portraits María Magdalena
Exhibited in 2007 at the Ollin Yoliztly Cultural Center, Mexico.

With this proposal I explore the feelings and sensations of the contemporary individual, in a situation where cultural demands seem to be solved. I pick up the figure of Mary Magdalene, who represents the independent human being capable to offer dignity and courage through life. This collection is very important to me since it represents the achievement of drawing in large formats, with the traditional technique of carbon and Indian ink.
